For Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor who has given given back to back hits with films like Rockstar, Barfi and Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani hardly appears to be perturbed over his Casenova image which he has acquired in the media for his alleged link-ups with various Bollywood's contemporary heroines. I am least affected by such kind of ‘paparraji' in the media and I think my marriage will put a break on all my alleged link-ups, said Ranbir while talking to the media on the sidelines of promotion of his upcoming movie Besharam.
The youngest son of ‘Kapoor khandan’, he says ‘successes’ that he had earned during short stint in Bollywood had not gone over his head. Though 10 films old, I still treat myself as a kid in the Bollywood with my feet firmly rooted on the ground, the ‘Rockstar' said.
When asked whether he faces competition from any particular Bollywood actor/hero, Ranbir said in the Bollywood he did not see any particular hero or actor as his competitor. In fact, I face competition from everyone in the Bollywood.
From legendary actor Amitabh Bachhan to the new comer Varun Dhawan, I treat each of them as my competitor and doest not want to rest on laurels of my hit films, he added.
He would try his best to carry forward the glorious ‘filmi’ legacy of his forefathers.
