Fr Maria Stephen was here on Wednesday appointed as Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Christian Dioceses of Madhya Pradesh State and the Archdiocese of Bhopal, in particular. The entire Christian community has extended best wishes to him and to his new challenging assignment.Fr Stephen has served as the Youth Director of the Bhopal Diocese, Director of the Seminary, Principal of St Joseph Co-ed School, Arera Colony, Parish Priest of Infant Jesus Church, Ayodhya Nagar and had a small stint as Principal at Ashta. leo Cornelio, Archbishop of Bhopal said he was delighted to announce the appointment of Fr Maria Stephen as PRO.
Fr Maria brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role. “I wish him success in his new duties,” he added.Commenting on the new appointment, Fr Maria Stephen said the aim of the PRO was to establish Gospel values of love, peace and justice. Through these values, it tries to bring all peoples together irrespective of cast or creed. This would further leads to the communion of communities.
