BJP State unit president Nandkumar Singh Chouhan and organisational secretary Arvind Menon, while expressing their respect to the nation builder — teachers on the occasion of Teachers Day, said that the progress of the society that respects teachers could not be hindered by any one.
The leaders said that the teachers are the inspiration source of students’ positive development and desired changes. We would always remain grateful towards teachers’ contribution, they added.
They said that on the occasion of Teachers Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would get in direct touch with crores of teachers and students across the country by addressing them live on Friday. Essay competitions on topics like ‘Effect on youth’s life on being in teacher’s contact’ would also be held in the schools on the occasion. In this no one should have objection, they added.
The leaders duo said that only those leaders are objecting to Prime Minister’s address to the children who have been marginalised by the people of the country that do not have relevance. Teachers Days should be called Teachers Day or we called it Guru Utsav and it neither hardly matters whether there would be any cultural barrier in it, they added.
Chouhan said, “The address of Prime Minister Modi to students and teachers on the occasion of Teachers Day would be a proud occasion and we could only express happiness over it and wish better future to the student and teaching fraternity.”
Chouhan further said that the opposition of the programme by Congress general secretary Madhusudan Mistry is irrelevant and uncalled for.
