A play defining the real truth of the society ‘Mansukh lal Majithia’ was staged here on Sunday at Shaheed Bhavan Auditorium leaving the audience spellbond. Directed by Satish Mehta the play was wonderfully presented by the artists of Prayog Theatre Group Bhopal. The play centres on the protagonist of the play Mansukh lal.

Mansukh lal is a very emotional and delicate personality. He can feel hurt at very small thing and can be very happy as well. His personality trait is different from others. Such people are still needed in the society to maintain the dignity of the society. According to the director Satish Mehta, “This play is about a person who is present in the society, live with the time but is not recognized properly. Such people are full of emotions and feelings. They do react on each and every situation the society faces. Such people are desperately needed in our society to protect not only themselves but others too living with the social evils.”

Satirically a strong message is given through the play raising a social issue very effectively.

MMasukh lal one morning while going through the newspaper came across a news that stated that Mansukh lal molested a young girl. This makes Mansuk lal really sad and upset. He wants to just run away from every ones eye. He loudly says ‘Mita Do Mera Naam Har Jagah Se’.

Though the culprit was another man but having the same names saddens Mansukh lal. He changed his name from all the legal documents, bank documents and even changes his name plate outside his house. He feels like committing suicide for this he takes stern steps which again sadden his family. This reaction was like an awakening for his family and neighbours.

The matured acting skills, the light design setting the mood and perfect dialogue delivery made the play worthwhile watching. The presentation of the play was impactful over the audience.
