Mandu which is the ancient fort city located in Dhar district and the beautiful picnic spot will now emerge as the new marriage destinations.
Dhar collector Alok Kumar Singh took this initiative to develop Mandu as the marriage destination. While talking to The Pioneer Singh told that Mandu is very beautiful place and the climate in Mandu changes every hour we can call Mandu as the gateway of joy and we our journey to Mandu goes through cloud. During the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic most of the marriage are restricted to the gathering of of around 125 people. And for such a crowd Mandu is perfect wedding destinations.
Besides, the people go to Goa and Jaipur for wedding ceremonies in which they spend lakhs of rupees in travelling stay and marriage function. All the crowd of Indore district and neighboring districts will come to Mandu thus this will increase the tourism in Mandu the local people will get the job and the precious money of people will be saved as the expenditure in compare to goa and Jaipur will be less. A mall road of around 500 meters will be developed in Mandu similar to mall road like Italy.
The Collector told that there are numerous historic forts like Hindola Mahal, Jahaj Mahal, the giant welcome gates, Rani Rupmati ka Mahal, Asharfi ka Mahal etc. besides this the foreigners also visit Indore district. We will also come up with a meeting hall as there are hundreds of factories in Pithampur industrial area and the meeting of this companies will be organized at Mandu.
