The new Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh State Agricultural Marketing Market Board GV Rashmi visited Bhopal Mandi.
During the visit, she was given an overview of various schemes being implemented in the market, mainly the National Agricultural Market (e-NAM), M.P. Farmgate App, Sauda Patrak Mobile App, Fruits and Vegetable App, E-Mandi Application were visited.
At the visit traders discussed with the Managing Director and their suggestions were heard. The fruit vegetable market yard was also visited by the Managing Director and information was taken about the various development works being done in the market.
The Managing Director instructed the Mandi Administration to take all possible action regarding the convenience of the farmers. Instructions were also given to take prompt action in the cases of Hammal and Tulawats. The traders doing business in the market were also instructed by the Managing Director to facilitate them commercially.
During the visit, Additional Director of Mandi Board DK Nagendra, Joint Director/Additional Collector of Bhopal Division Ritu Chauhan, NIC. Technical Director, Musharraf Sultan, Executive Engineer Shiv Kumar Upadhyay, Chief Programmer of Mandi Board Sandeep Choubey were present.
On behalf of the Mandi administration, Mandi Secretary Rajendra Singh Baghel and his entire staff were present during the visit. Harish Gyanchandani, President of Grain Merchant Association Bhopal and his office bearers also welcomed the Managing Director Madam in Mandi courtyard Bhopal.
To see the marketing system, the Managing Director was told to visit Bhopal Mandi again in the coming days. At the end of his tour, the Mandi Administration was instructed by the Managing Director that the farmers should get maximum facilities in the Mandi premises, such arrangements should be made by the Mandi Administration.
Farmer brothers should get the right price, the weight of their produce should be quick and correct and the farmers should get the payment on the same day in the market yard.
