A 35-year-old man sustained serious injuries after he was attacked with sharp-edged weapons by three miscreants at Shahjehanabad area; one of the accused sustained injuries during the fight on Wednesday.
Police said that Deepak and Farhan has old enmity and in the evening on Wednesday Deepak attacked Farhan with a sharp edged weapon after heated verbal spate and later Farhan along with two of his accomplices attacked Deepak with sharp edged weapons.
Deepak was rushed to a nearby hospital where his condition is reportedly critical while sustained injuries in his stomach.
A complaint was lodged by Deepak and Farhan and based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case of attempt to murder against Deepak and Farhan. Farhan runs a grocery shop and got engaged with Deepak in the evening which infuriated Deepak to the extreme and he attacked Farhan with a sharp edged weapon. To settle scores Farhan along with two accomplices attacked Deepak injuring him in his stomach.
Police said that Farhan used to dominate residents as he is a member of Nagar Suraksha Samiti and which had lead to dispute between him and others in the area. Deepak’s uncle Sunderlal lodged a complaint against Farhan and based on the complaint a case under section 307 of the IPC was lodged while based on Farhan’s complaint a case under section 307 and 294 of the IPC was registered.
Police said that the two accomplices who accompanied Farhan at the time of the incident have not been made co-accused in the case.
