The Mahila police have booked nabbed a man for sexually exploiting a 28-year old woman for the past ten months; accused trapped the victim over matrimonial site posing as government official.
Police said that the accused identified as Vishal Malviya was booked after the victim lodged complaint against the accused of sexual exploitation for the past ten months on the pretext of marriage.
The victim who is resident of Mandideep in her complaint stated that she became acquainted with the accused over matrimonial website shaadi.com.
The accused contacted and asked to meet her at a hotel in Trilanga. The accused continued sexual exploitation for the next few months and later when she started to collect the information about the accused she found that the accused was not a government employee and used to work with a private firm. The accused was also married.
Based on the complaint police registered a case and nabbed the accused who was on the run.
The police registered a case under section 376 2 (N) and 506 of the IPC and nabbed the accused.
Police would also investigate the call record details of the the accused. The details of the accused and crime records have to be investigated in the further investigation.
