Chhola police have arrested two persons including a woman for killing a 55-year-old man who was driver of the Superintendent of Hamidia hospital; the man was killed by his second wife and her son over property dispute.
The driver of Hamidia Hospital superintendent Deepak Maravi was murdered along with his son by his second wife, he was stabbed in his neck, smashing his head with a stone.
Property dispute has emerged as the reason for the murder. It was told that the stepson of the driver, wife were pressurizing him to get the house in his name which the deceased refused after which mother and son murdered him.
On Monday night, the wife took the driver from the house on the pretext of visiting a nearby area and along with her son killed him near the Malikhedi culvert.
Amar Singh Vishwakarma (55), was a government driver at Hamidia Hospital and posted with Dr Deepak Maravi, Superintendent of Hamidia Hospital. After the duty was over on Monday, he reached home at 8 pm on Monday.
Shanti Devi and her son Shivraj (24) were arrested by the police.
Police found that Amar Singh's first wife Sua Devi passed away a year ago and later he married Shanti Kushwaha and started to live with Amar at his house which was in the name of his first wife.
The second wife and his eldest son were pressurizing him to name this house but he refused and which lead to his murder.
