A 45-year-old man was mowed down by a speeding jeep while crossing road near a pond under Berasia police station area in the evening on Wednesday.
The deceased identified as Chandan Singh Gurjar was hit by a speeding jeep while he was trying to cross road near Baay river. The locals rushed the injured to hospital where he was declared dead.
The incident took place when he was carrying harvest to sell in market along with his son and stopped near Baay river to answer nature’s call and while crossing road he was hit by speeding jeep.
The deceased sustained multiple injuries which caused his dead. After the preliminary investigation the bodies were sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 304 (A) of the IPC.
Meanwhile, a 23-year-old youth was mowed down by a speeding bike at Bansasiya vehicle under Bilkharia police station area on Wednesday.
Police said Binu Meena was hit by speeding bike when he was standing after buying grocery from a shop in village.
He was taken to hospital where he died during treatment. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post-mortem. The police have registered a case under Section 304 (A) of the IPC.
