Refusing to give money to her husband cost dear to a 30-year-old woman as her outrageous husband killed her by hitting her with a raft in the head. The incident was reported in One Tree Hills locality of Bairagarh on Thursday.
According to the Bairagarh Police, on Thursday morning the victim Rammo Bai asked the accused Halkeram (35) to bring milk. The accused asked for money for buying milk but the victim refused to provide money stating that she had already given some cash to her on Wednesday evening.
This triggered verbal spate between the two and the heated argument angered the man and he started beating her. During the fight, the accused took a piece of raft and hit her several times in the head. After injuring his wife, the man escaped the spot.
locals rushed the victim to a nearby hospital where she died later. Police were informed and after preliminary investigation the body was sent for post mortem. The accused works as a construction labour and used to live with his wife at an under construction building at One Tree Hills area.
It would be investigated that the murder was done based on the petty issue or there is some other reason due to which the victim was murdered. The incident took place at around 6 am. When the accused was questioned he confessed the crime.
