Following a tiff with his wife, a man committed suicide at his residence on Wednesday night. Aerodrome police have registered the case.
The incident occurred on Wednesday at Sanwaria Nagar under Aerodrome police station when the deceased identified as Vijay Namdev, son of Arjun returned home in an inebriated condition.His wife Saroj objected seeing him under the influence of liquor and it led to a heated arguments and tiff between the wife and husband.After sometime, Vijay went for a sleep in the back room of his house.After sometime, when his children knocked door of the room where their father was sleeping, it was not opened.
In the meantime residing nearby gathered after hearing an alarm. The broke open the door and to their utter dismay found the body of Vijay hanging from ceiling of the house. Though the family member rushed the body to a nearby hospital, doctors declared him brought dead. After being informed about the matter, Aerodrome police also rushed to the incident site and sent the body to MY Hospital for postmortem. Meanwhile, police registered the case.
According to police, the deceased was working as a driver with Atal City Transport Services limited and plying Indore-Bhopal bus.
