Gautam Nagar police have nabbed a miscreant involved in sexually assaulting of a 24-year-old girl; accused sexually assaulted the victim for past one and a half year on the pretext of marrying her.
Police said that accused identified as Mohammad Muzzamil was nabbed after a complaint was lodged by the victim who was sexually assaulted and forced her to unnatural sex.
The victim in her complaint stated that she was sexually assaulted and exploited for the past one and half year. The accused concealed the fact that he was married.
She came into contact with the accused who runs a photocopier shop in the area.
He developed relationship with her and later sexually exploited her in the name of marrying her and during the sexual exploitation accused sodomised her.
Accused would escape with excuses when the victim asked for marriage and recently refused to marry her.
She later approached police on Friday and lodged complaint with Gautam Nagar police.
After the preliminary investigation the police registered a case under sections 376, 376(2) N and 377 of the IPC and nabbed the accused.
Meanwhile MP Nagar police have booked three persons including one woman for demanding money and harassing a 28-year-old woman for dowry on Friday.
The victim Sonam Mehta lodged complaint against her husband Ishaan Maheswari and in-laws for harassing her demanding money and removed her from house few days ago.
On Friday she lodged a complaint with the MP Nagar police. The police have started investigation.
