A 40-year-old man was arrested by for having unnatural sex with his wife and harassing her for dowry on Sunday. Earlier on Saturday the victim had lodged a complaint with the Woman police against her husband Irfan Khan of forcing her for having unnatural sex and harassing her demanding dowry. In the complaint victim has mentioned that after she got married few years ago with Irfan she was harassed for dowry of Rs 2 lakh and a land plot.
Shocking revelations regarding inhumane nature of accused was made in the complaint. She had alleged that whenever she used to refuse for unnatural sex she was face burn injuries inflicted by her husband. The victim is a resident of Sonia Gandhi Nagar and was married to Irfan in the year 1997.
In the initial days of her marriage the relationship was good which turned sour later when the victim was harassed demanding dowry. Acting on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the accused was nabbed on Sunday and was produced in the court. The accused has been sent under judicial custody. The couple had two children from the marriage as the atrocities of the accused continued and forced the victim to lodge complaint against the accused. Station House Officer of woman police station Renu Murab told that the victim was traumatised by the brutalities of her husband and decided to lodge a complaint. A case under section 498(A), 377, 406 and 506 of the IPC was registered against the accused.
