Second Additional Sessions Judge Sushant Huddar on Friday sentenced Sukharam Dabur of Kaliyakund village to seven years rigorous imprisonment for raping a minor girl. According to the prosecution, the accused Sukharam had taken away the 13-year-girl with him when she came to Manpur market.
The offender was with his wife and sister, but getting a chance, he took away the girl alone saying that he would drop her at her house but instead he took her at the bank of river Ajnar near sitlamata water falls and sexually assaulted her. The Manpur police after thorough investigation submitted a chalan in Mhow court. The Court took the statements of victim’s father, uncle, doctor and police officers.
