A 55-year-old man was found dead under suspicious circumstances near railway tracks under Habibganj police station area on Saturday; it was a suicide or accident would be investigated, said police.
Police were informed after a man was found dead at railway tracks on Saturday and on the receipt a police team reached the spot and started investigation. The man was identified as Sukhlal More.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and the police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
The circumstantial evidences suggest that the deceased was hit by a speeding train but to ascertain it at the moment is not possible and could be confirmed after receiving the post mortem report.
The police have ruled out any possibility of deceased been killed which would be investigated. The statements of the family members are yet to be recorded, said police.
Meanwhile, a man in the age group of 25-30 years was found dead near railway tracks at Narayan Nagar on Saturday; man committed suicide or it was an accident is under investigation. Police were informed after a man was found dead at railway tracks in the night on Saturday and on the receipt a police team reached the spot and started investigation.
In the initial investigation police have not found any thing which could help in establishing the identity of the deceased.
