A 45-year-old man was found dead at Nishatpura railway crossing under Nishatpura police station area on Saturday morning.
Police were informed and on the receipt of the information a police team was rushed to the spot and after preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem.
In the initial investigation, it was found that the deceased was facing health problems and used to remain depressed over his illness. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrCP and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 20-year-old youth died after being hit by a private school bus near Regional Science Center under Shymala Hills police station area on Friday. According to the police, the victim Fakrul‘s scooter was hit head on by Sanskar Valley School at around 4 pm on Friday. The commuters rushed him to Hamidia hospital and informed the police .
Mobile phone of the victim which was found near the spot was used to trace the details of the victim and his family was informed. The family after receiving the information rushed to Hamidia hospital and took the victim to lBS hospital but the condition of the victim had deteriorated and he succumbed to injuries.
After preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 304 A of the IPC has been registered.
