A man in the age group of 30-years was found dead under suspicious circumstances at nullah near Forest Colony under TT Nagar police station area in the early morning hours on Wednesday.
Police were informed after locals spotted a man lying in the nullah and on the information, a police team rushed to the spot and started investigation.
After the preliminary investigation, the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
The body was partially decomposed. The man was killed or it was an accident is yet to be ascertained and post mortem report has to be referred which is awaited.
During the investigation, police have not found any thing which could help in establishing the identity of deceased.
Meanwhile a 62-year-old woman died after she fell from balcony of second floor at C-sector Shahpura on Tuesday; woman died while she was trying to see something from balcony said Chunbhatti police in the investigation.
Police said that injured woman identified as Indra Rai was taken to a hospital where she was declared dead.
The police said deceased was at home along with other members and after having food she was in the balcony during which she fell.
The body was sent for post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered. Internal injuries proved fatal for the deceased,said police.
