A 24-year old man died after he was run over by tractor at 11 mile under Misrod police station area on Saturday. According to police, the victim Vikram Singh was returning after unloading goods at 11 mile area and while on his way he accidentally fell and was run over by the tractor trolley he was driving. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died later during treatment. The victim used to work with a MPSEB contractor and hailed from Haryana.
The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.Police said that whether the victim was under the influence of alcohol or he fell accidentally would be revealed after receiving post mortem report.Statements of the contractor and other labours who used to work with the victim are yet to be recorded said the police.
