A 45-year-old man, who was hit by a speeding vehicle in Bagh Sewania area late in the night on Tuesday, succumbed to injuries on Wednesday.
Police said that a man was rushed to Hamidia hospital after he was hit by a speeding vehicle where he died during treatment. The deceased was identified as Ganesh Ram. Investigation into the matter has been started and search for the errant driver has been intensified.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation. Police said that a case under section 304 A would be registered in the further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 20-year-old girl died who sustained injuries after she came into contact with live wires on July 30 at her residence in Sharda Nagar under Gautam Nagar police station and later she succumbed to death late in the night on Tuesday during treatment.
According to the Gautam Nagar police the deceased Naeema Khan was injured and was rushed to Hamidia hospital where her condition deteriorated and she died late in the night on Tuesday.
Police were not able to find the source of electrocution. In the initial investigation it was found that the deceased was electrocuted and was alone at the time of the incident.
Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation.
The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and
