A band master died after falling from a commercial building in Khajuri Bazar locality behind the Rajwada. The deceased identified as Vinod Baroth (52), was a band master with Sardar Malwa Bank, the office of which was located on the ground floor of the said building.
The incident came to light on Friday morning when one Mohammad Moin (21), son of Momin Sheikh, proprietor of the Sardar Malwa Bank was passing from the locality when he saw the band master Vinod lying injured on the ground. He immediately informed about the matter to his father and other employees of the band. Soon after the incident, Vinod was immediately taken to the hospital by the band employees but he was declared brought dead. Soon after being informed about the matter, Sarafa police TI Sanjay Dube along with FSl expert Dr Sudhir Sharma rushed to the spot. After registering a case, police sent the body to the district hospital for postmortem.
Police said the deceased, a native of Nagda (Ujjain) had been working with the Sardar Malwa Band, the office of which located in densely populated Khajuri Bazar locality. Vinod along with other employees of the band had been living on the third floor of this building. As informed by his colleagues, Vinod was a habitual drinker. He had consumed liquor last night till 12.30 pm and probably under the influence of liquor, he might have fallen from the window of his room.
