A 19-year old youth died after being hit by a speeding motorbike near ITI under Govindpura police station area late on Friday night. According to the police, the victim Satyam Gupta was on his way home on foot, when he was hit by a speeding motorbike. The passerby immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital where he died during treatment.
The victim used to live alone and used to work for a private company. Victim hailed from Vidisha district. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation. Investigation is on and it is possible that a case under section 304 A of the IPC would be registered. Search based on the details of the errant biker provided by the locals has been started.
Meanwhile a 23-year-old youth was electrocuted after he fell and hold live electric wires at Qazi Camp area under Tilajamalpura police station area late night on Friday.
According to the police the victim Noor Miyan after playing pool game owned by Shadab Khan at Purana Naka area was coming downstairs when he incidentally slipped and in a bid to hold a support he touched a live electricity wire and was injured severely and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died during treatment.
When the family was questioned regarding any enmity or foul play the family had raised suspicion but was not able to provide any details. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
