A 34-year-old man died while three persons including a woman were injured after their car rammed into a truck at 11 miles road under Misrod police station area in the wee hours on Monday.
According to the police four injured were rushed to hospital where one of the injured was declared dead. The deceased was identified as Manish Lalwani of Gulmohar Colony. Deceased worked as property dealer and had gone to party with his friends and on their way back met accident.
The truck was parked in which the car hit and at the time of accident Manish was driving the car. The impact of the collision was severe as car got entangled with the truck and it was removed by cutting front of car.
Police said that the accident took place late in the evening and possibly the driver fell failed to spot truck which caused the accident. The four went for party and have food and drinks and at the time of accident they were drunk but it could be ascertained after the post mortem report is received.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.Action against parked truck would be taken as it was parked and no blinkers were used to signal regarding the parking.
The three escaped with injuries and condition of one of the injured is reportedly critical.
