A 40-year-old man committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at Shiv Nagar under TT Nagar police station area on Saturday. Police said the deceased Dinkar Dawade was found hanging in his house and was rushed to JP hospital where he was declared brought dead. The reason of the suicide could not be ascertained as the family members were not able to provide any reason behind the extreme step taken by the victim. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have sent the body for the post mortem. Meanwhile a 35-year-old man committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at Kotra Sultanabad area under Kamla Nagar police station area.
According to the police Umesh Gaware was found in an unconscious state at his residence on Saturday and was rushed to a nearby hospital where his condition deteriorated further and he died later. The body has been sent for the post mortem and further details which could help in revealing the reason of the death could be confirmed after the receiving of the post mortem report, told the police.
The family members were not aware of the victim's consuming poisonous substance and were shocked when the doctors at the hospital confirmed that the victim has consumed poisonous substance. No suicide note was recovered from the body and no clear reason surfaced about the suicide during investigation confirmed police officer investigating the case.
