Kolar police has booked a miscreants for forcing a 34-year-old woman to marry her by threatening to make her obscene video viral.
The accused identified as Raj alias Raj Kumar became friend with the victim over social media and later accused threatened her of marrying him and in she fails to marry him, he would make the video viral over social media.
In her complaint victim stated that she downloaded an app and started hosting during which she became friend with a person using ID in the name of Bindas police who was identified as Raj. The two started to chat and later became friend and victim started to share her personal information.
Accused recorded her obscene video and using video blackmailed her for marriage which the accused refused and accused threatened that he would made video viral over social media.
Three day ago victim received video from an unknown mobile number and which were made by the accused. Victim lodged complaint with the police and police have registered a case under section 67 IT Act and section 354 of the IPC.
Meanwhile, Gandhi Nagar police have booked a miscreant for molesting a 31-year-old married woman at Arjun Ward in the evening on Wednesday.
The victim was molested and accused tried to hold her hand after which she raised alert and locals came to her rescue and she was rescued. police registered a case of molestation.
