Bairagarh police have booked a man for sodomising a minor boy near New Sabzi Mandi on Friday. Bairagarh police have also started search for the accused.
Police said that the accused identified as Akash Parthor was booked after he lured victim of visiting pond area at Bairagarh and later sexually assaulted her.
The victim managed to escape and lodged a complaint with the Bairagarh police stating that he had gone to meet his friends in Bairagarh where he met his acquaintance Akash who lured him of visiting pond area and took him near pond and sexually assaulted him and before leaving threatened him of life.
Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case under sections 377 and 506 of the IPC and sections 5 & 6 of the POCSO Act.
The victim reported the incident to parents and later complaint was lodged. Victim works with his uncle who operates DJ in functions.
Meanwhile, Mangalwara police have booked a man for sexually exploiting a 23-year old Bina based girl for the past few months; a complaint was lodged on Friday.
Police said that the accused identified as Ravi Prajapati was booked after the victim lodged complaint against the accused of sexual exploitation for the past few months on the pretext of marriage.
The victim in her complaint stated that she met the accused few months ago and developed relationship later.
The accused sexually assaulted her at her rented room on the pretext of marrying her and when he asked for marriage the accused escaped with excuses and recently abused her when he asked for marriage after which the victim lodged a complaint with the police.
The police have registered a case under section 376 of the IPC against the accused.
