An 11-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by her step-father at Karond under Nishatpura police station area; a case was registered on Saturday.
According to the police, the accused Rajesh Soni used to sexually assault her 11-year-old step daughter for the past one month. On Saturday morning victim’s mother found that the accused was showing victim indecent content over mobile phone and opposed and later found that the accused used to sexually assault the victim for the past one month whenever the victim’s mother would go on work. A complaint was lodge with the Nishatpura police.
The victim’s mother married to the accused in the year 2010 and had two children from her first marriage. The accused work as an auto rickshaw driver.
The police have registered a case under section 376, 506 of the IPC and section 5,6,11 and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act-2012.The search for the accused has been started. Meanwhile a 25-year-old girl was sexually exploited by a 30-year-old man in the name of marrying her at Chunbhatti; a case was registered by Chunabhatti police on Friday.
The family members of the victims have claimed that on May 20 the accused lured the victim and later sexually assaulted her and threatened her of life and warned not to report the incident to anyone. later the victim braved to inform the incident to the family members. Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 366,376 and 506 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
