A 35-year-old man was attacked with a sharp-edged weapon at Khoheri village under Khajuri police station on Tuesday.
According to the police, the victim Kamal Singh and Hem Singh Banjara are relatives and have enmity over some issue. On Tuesday Hem Singh Banjara attacked Kamal Singh when he was near his house after an altercation broke out between them. Kamal Singh was hit by a stone and later attacked with a sharp-edged weapon in his ribs. The accused escaped the spot of crime and is still at large.
The accused and victim are relatives and had old enmity but the issue on which they become envoy is still not clear told the police. The incident occurred at around 7.30 pm when Kamal Singh was on his way back home and when he reached near the house of the accused they started an altercation and the victim was attacked. The victim was rushed to Hamidia hospital in an unconscious state claimed the doctors but his condition is reportedly stable confirmed the doctors and would be discharged soon.
The victim after gaining conscious has not alleged the accused regarding the attack and was not willing to provide the details of the attack. He is mum and is not ready to speak, the reason is not clear but the truth could be revealed after the arrest of the accused. The police have registered a case under section 307 of the IPC and have started searching for the miscreant.
