Fuelled with old enmity over a disputed land a man was attacked by four arms miscreants at Sonkucth village under Berasia police station police station area; condition of victim is reportedly critical.
Machha Bai lodged complaint after her son Sonu Kanjar and his friend were attacked by Naseem, Shukla , Rinku and Anup Kanjar.
The four attacked with sharp edged weapons and wooden sticks.
Police said that a youth was rushed to hospital after he was attacked by four armed miscreant while on his way to home. The injured was identified as Sonu who was attacked by accused who had dispute over land at the village for long.
The two were attacked on Tuesday and next day Sonu’s mother lodged complaint. In her complaint, the victim told the police that Sonu and his friend were in the village when the four obstructed them and started a verbal spat and when opposed accused attacked with sharp edged weapons and escaped the spot.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation, the police have registered a case under section 307 of the IPC.
Police found that the dispute was over the property which the two parties claims of ownership and are fighting for long. Search has been intensified for the absconding accused who are still at large.
Police have increased deployment of police personnel and as the victim’s friends and family would try to settle score with the accused and their family members.
