Bajaria police has arrested a man for sexually assaulting his 8-year-old daughter for the past two years in Dwarika Nagar; victim was sexually assaulted threatening her of life after her mother died around a year ago.
According to police, the accused is a resident of Dwarika Nagar with his two children the 8-year-old victim and her 12-year-old brother and victim faced atrocities in the house from her father. After receiving the information police rescued the girl while the accused father escaped and was later nabbed by the police.
In the initial investigation police found that the victim girl lived in inhumane conditions as the accused father used to physically assault her apart from sexually assaulting her for the past two years. Police found that the girl was six year old when her mother died and she started to sleep with her father and was aware of the ill intents her father as having and became victim of the heinous act.
The victim was afraid of her father as he had threatened her of life. On Friday she braved to tell the atrocities to her elder brother who knew that helpline numbers and NGO workers could help him. Police have registered a case under section 376 of the IPC and section of POCSO Act.
The accused was produced in the court and was sent under judicial custody. During the investigation police found that the girl was not aware what she was facing and afraid of her father’s threat.
