Koh-e-Fiza police have arrested a man for sexually assaulting and exploiting his 19-year-old tenant after making her obscene video; victim was sexually exploited for past two years when she used to live as tenant at the house of accused.
The victim lodged a complaint with police against the accused house owner Ravi Shankar Mehar. Police said both the accused and victim were acquainted and when she was alone in November last year accused entered her room and raped her by threatening.For the next several months threatening the victim accused sexually exploited her at her house and other places and during which accused took obscene video and used to blackmail her and sexually exploit her. The victim along with the family members lodged a complaint with the Koh-e-Fiza.
Police have registered a case under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC and have started further investigation and arrested the accused who went absconding after complaint was made. Details of the accused and his crime record are under investigation.
Meanwhile, Nishatpura police have booked a miscreant for duping victim to the tune of Rs 5500 in the name of facilitating loan, case was registered on Sunday.The police have registered case of fraud against the unidentified miscreant who duped Poonam in the name of providing loan. Victim received a message regarding loan and to process the loan she was required to deposit money and she deposited money in different bank accounts.
