Koh-e-Fiza police have arrested a man for sexually assaulting her 10 year old step-daughter at Panchvati Colony, complaint was lodged with the police after the victim reported atrocity by step father on Wednesday.
According to the police, on Wednesday when the victim was alone, the accused raped her. At the time of incident victim’s mother was at work and when she returned victim told her mother about the heinous act after which her mother decided to lodge a complaint and later, they lodged a complaint with the Koh-e-Fiza police.
In the complaint, the victim claimed her step-father had sexually assaulted her while she was alone at her house. He had raped her several times in the past when her mother would used to leave her alone with him.
During the investigation, the police have found that the victim’s mother divorced her husband in Sagar and later married to accused. Later, they started living together. Unaware of the ill deeds of the accused, the victim’s mother used to leave victim who is a class 4 student with the accused.
The victim claimed that the accused had threatened her of killing her and told her to keep mum over the act and never report it to her mother. After the preliminary investigation, the police have started investigation.
The police have registered a case under section 376 and 506 of the IPC and section 5 (B) and 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and have started further investigation.
