A 31-year-old man and his 8-year-old son died while his wife escaped with injuries after their bike was hit by speeding truck at Fanda-Khajuri road on Sunday; Khajuri Sadak police have started investigation.
In the accident three persons including a woman were injured and were taken to hospital where man and his son died while his wife escaped with injuries and was in shock. The man identified as Deepak was a resident of Dewas. Police said that an accident was reported on Fanda-Khajuri road at around 3 in the afternoon. Police team was rushed to the spot and took injured to hospital.
A woman was found in injured state and was in her senses while man and boy were unconsciousness. The bodies of man and his son were sent for the PM.
Police found that the truck was carrying LPG cylinders and after hitting bike it turned upside down. The woman who was the lone survivor of the accident escaped as she was pushed away due to the impact while the two were mowed down.
On this basis of identity established of man police have started searching for the relatives of the deceased as the woman was not in a position to provide name of deceased and her son.
The local police would contact Dewas police in the further investigation. The name of the injured woman is Chanda while other details are under investigation.
