Under Gamak series 'Malawi Gayan' and Alha Gayan was presented on YouTube Channel of Madhya Pradesb State Tribal Museum.
The Malawi Gayan was performed by Maya Verma and group, Ujjain and 'Alha Gayan' by Sanjay Kumar Sahu and group from Sagar.
The first presentation in the series started with 'Malawi Gayan'. Maya presented Malawi songs performed on various auspicious occasions in Malvanchal.
She started off with Ganesh Vandana- Chalo Gajanand Joshi Kayan Chala, Bhajan- Maiya Garh Pe Nobat Baje, Bheru Geet- Kankar Ra Bheru Ladla, Mhari Arj Sunega Kai Re, Bunny Geet- Banni Bhammar Paraya Bhari Ho, Banna Geet- Banna Mor Papaya Bole In Baga, Mamera song – Veera Mahara Veer Bhadesing Re and Badhawa song – Agar-chandan Ra Prabhu Anangana Lipaya and more.
She was accompanied by Hemlata Verma on harmonium, Laluram Chauhan on dholak, Sheetal Rao on dholak and Dhirendra Verma on khanjari/manjira.
In the second presentation, Sagar's artist Sanjay Sahu and his companions presented the glorification of Bundelkhand in Alha Dhun, followed by warning hymns - Ram Sumar Man More, Chokdiya Isuri, Ratnare Nain Tumhare Hain and Traditional Dadra Gori Tere by Kangana Ratan.
