Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that with the inspiration of Maihar Mata the resolution for the development of this region has furthered and it is due to this inspiration that Narayan Tripathi has been made the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate.
Chouhan, while addressing an election meeting on Wednesday, said, “The restlessness and ardor for the development of Maihar seen by me in Tripathi encouraged me and I told him not to resign immediately from the Assembly. No stone would be left unturned for the development of Maihar.”
Chouhan further said that later Tripathi decided to resign from Congress and join BJP, his proposal was honored and he was admitted in the BJP and was made party candidate for the by-poll. All this happened with the blessings and inspiration of Maa Sharda, he added.
He called on the electorate of the constituency to make Tripathi victorious for contributing in the development of the region. “As the model code of conduct is in force hence the roadmap for the development could be elaborated but the problems of villages are huge. Motors would be fitted in the hand-pumps to provide facility to the beneficiaries, he added.
He said that while visiting the townships I found that those living in houses constructed on government land are getting haywire in want of pattas. Statewide patta distribution drive is going on, the houseless would become owner of the houses and landless would become land owners and the loan arrangements from bank for construction of houses would be made by the Government, he added.
