Not in disguise with a facemask and not with a designer costume, but this superhero appears to the people as he is, simple yet having incredible powers.A new fictional show — Maharakshak Aryan is all set to woo the television lovers. The soap features Aakarshan Singh as India’s youngest superhero Aryan. The 20-year-old Aakarshan is playing a double role, on one hand he is a nerd and on the other hand he saves the entire world from evil.
This young superhero while in a candid talk with The Pioneer says that it was difficult for him to get the role and after almost 150 auditions he was selected for the lead role, which was next to a magic for him.
“I have never thought earlier that I would become an actor but eventually I was captivated towards the profession and so I am here,” says Aakarshan.
Apparently, Aakarshan does not have a long list of soaps or endorsements yet as he is just a fresher in the industry. He has appeared in soaps like Halla Bol on Channel V and Kumkum Bhagya on Zee TV in cameo roles for just a scene or an appearance. Maharakshak Aryan is his debut serial where he would be playing the protagonist of the concept.
“Well I feel really excited and I am extremely overwhelmed that I am debuting as a superhero. Initially I had faced many problems. On the first day of my shoot I was very nervous and I gave almost eight takes, but finally when I gave the perfect shot I regained my confidence,” Aakarshan shared.
Elaborating further, Aakarshan said, “Well I believe it is all about confidence and nothing else. After you are comfortable with the work and you become camera friendly then you are all set to create your magic on the audience.”
Aakarshan is completing his graduation from correspondence. “I have not much time these days where I can divert my concentration other than this soap, so I am continuing with my students through correspondence.”
On asking about his future expectations as an actor, Aakarshan confidently replied, “Of course I have grown in my expectation and would love to excel in this field, would love to enter Bollywood but right now my major priority is Maharakshak Aryan and I would limit my expectation with this soap only.”
Aakarshan signs off saying, “I am playing an 18 year old intern in a radio station who at his 18th birthday discovers his superpowers and I believe that every individual has a superpower as in real life too I have discovered some unknown qualities in me after doing this show. So, one should be persistent towards his or her goals.”
