Amid the raging controversy in Madhya Pradesh over the ‘Besharam Song’ in the upcoming film Pathaan of Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, assembly Speaker Girish Gautam asked if actor Shah Rukh Khan would watch his upcoming movie with his daughter.

Asked about the ongoing controversy over the music video of the film, Girish Gautam said, “I’m asking Shah Rukh Khan - your daughter has turned 23-24 years old, watch your movie with her. I ask him to watch his movie starring Deepika Padukone with his daughter.”

He further said “If you watch the film you have made with your 23-24 year old daughter, then we will agree that the film is good for the society”.

Pathaan Movie is to be released on 25 January. Its teaser came a month ago. Recently its first song 'Besharam Rang’ has been released. In this, actress Deepika Padukone has given very bold scenes with Shahrukh. Deepika is also seen wearing a bold saffron colored dress in the song. The movie is being opposed because of this.

Meanwhile, actress Swara Bhaskar and MP Sadhvi Pragya Thakur have now entered in this controversy. Swara has targeted the ruling leaders through tweet. On the other hand, MP Pragya Thakur said - one should not watch films of such hero-heroines, who call saffron shameless.

Madhya Pradesh Ulema Board President Syed Anas Ali said that he is getting calls from many people. He says that Islam has been wrongly propagated in Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan film. People love Shah Rukh Khan, but now they are angry. Obscenity has been spread all over in the film.

In Gwalior, Minister OPS Bhadauria has also taken a tough stand on the film 'Pathaan'. He said that Hindu deities are being targeted in the name of films and paintings for centuries.

They are being humiliated. Why doesn't someone make a film on Prophet Mohammad. The Madhya Pradesh government has been taking a tough stand in such cases in the past as well and has taken action. This time also strict action will be taken on the film 'Pathaan'.
