'Maati Ki Mehek' begins, gets good response

From wind chimes to eye catching decorative pieces, all captivating art pieces of red soil are available at the exhibition ‘Maati Ki Mehek’.The exhibition displaying all sorts of decorative and usable pieces made of soil, Maati Ki Mehek, is being put up at Gauhar Mahal. The exhibition began from Monday and on the first day, the exhibition received a satisfactory response.

Vendors and artists from across the country have put up the art pieces of their region. As the art lovers always get something new to have a look at Gauhar Mahal exhibitions this time, the potters have not only brought the pieces to adore their home decor, but also the pieces of the use.There are tea pots, cups, bells, decorative items including flower pots, sculptures and many more at the exhibition. Not only this, the vendors have also brought useful pieces like kitchen utensils, and bathroom accessories as well. There is a huge variety of clay toys for the children as well. From hand cart to angithi, toys, which are rarely seen nowadays, are available.

The artists have majorly worked on terracotta and other kinds of clay as well. There are polished and colourful pieces of pottery could be seen at the exhibition. Not only this, but for the art lovers of the city, few potters from different parts of the country have portrayed their art pieces. There are only home décor items with beautiful and eye catching designs. These pieces are available in vibrant colours, which look pleasing to the eyes and are available at affordable range.

The artists from across the country have given an enchanting touch to the wet clay and have moulded it according to their imagination, which is being put up for the art lovers of the city.
