Principal Secretary Urban Development and Environment Malay Shrivastava inspected spot of boat accident in the lower lake here on Friday.
Shrivastava elicited information from survivor youths who had reached ashore by swimming after capsize of the boat and local eye witnesses. The boat accident had occurred near Kamlapati Ghat in Bhopal’s lower lake at 8.30 on March 20.
Eye witnesses informed that the boat had capsized even as they reached the spot after hearing alarms raised by surviving youths who had swum ashore after accident.
They fished out both the boats and 4 drowned youths. The boat had sunken in the silt of the lake bed.
