A few days ago, there was a dispute in some parts of the country regarding the reciting of Hanuman Chalisa. Now Hanuman ji himself has entered in the civic elections of Madhya Pradesh. The Bharatiya Janata Party has complained about this to the State Election Commission after seeing the picture of Congress veteran and former CM Kamal Nath with Hanuman ji.
In fact, in the midst of elections in Chhindwara Municipal Corporation, the social media department of Congress has released a poster. A big picture of Hanuman ji is seen in the poster. A ‘chaupai’ (four line stanza) of Hanuman Chalisa is also written in this poster. Apart from this, the picture of Kamalnath, his MP son Nakul Nath and the party’s mayoral candidate from the district, Vikram Ahake is also visible.
It is being said that while being the CM, Kamal Nath had made a huge idol of Hanuman ji in his home town Chhindwara and this picture is of the same idol. But BJP has taken objection of this poster. The party says that Congress is seeking votes in the name of Hanuman ji in the civic polls.
A BJP delegation has appealed to State Election Commissioner Basant Pratap Singh to take action. While complaining to the State Election Commission, the party has said that the code of conduct is being violated continuously by the Congress. The BJP has also demanded an immediate ban on Congress leaders from campaigning.
State Youth Congress President Vikrant Bhuria, while clarifying on this matter, said that BJP is forcibly giving air to this matter. On the other hand, BJP Yuva Morcha had recited Hanuman Chalisa a week ago and took out a bike rally.
