A local court here on Saturday issued lookout notice against mining baron Sudhir Sharma who is accused in the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) examination scam.
On Saturday the Special Task Force (STF) officials visited Sharma's house at Akriti Garden and office in MP Nagar and searched documents. During the visit lookout notice was pasted at Sharma's house and office.
Issuing the lookout notice the court has instructed Sharma to surrender by July 21. The notice was issued
by First Class Judicial Magistrate (JMFC) Pankaj Maheshwari.
Along with Sharma's residence at Akriti Garden raids were conducted at several places by the STF in the past few days but failed to find Sharma.
According to the STF sources Sharma is constantly changing his location due to which tracking him has become difficult and no success has been achieved to obtain information about his whereabouts.
During the investigation it was found that Sharma might slip to foreign destination.
Earlier, after the STF failed to find Sharma for his involvement in the police constable recruitment examination 2012 scam a reward of Rs5,000 was declared for providing information about Sharma around 5 days ago.
Meanwhile former PA of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Prem Chand Prasad and his daughter were granted anticipatory bail within hours after issuing notice by STF to them for appearing before the court till June 26 in PMT examination scam on Saturday.
During the investigation STF has issued notice to Premchand Prasad who facilitated clearing medical entrance examination for his daughter. He was issued notice to appear before the court before June 26 but surprisingly granted bail to both father-daughters which was a major setback in the whole episode for the STF as they were anticipating crucial information would be abstracted from him in the whole scam.
The investigating agency as part of efforts to force Sharma to surrender has frozen his bank accounts.
