The right to information (RTI) and social activist from the State capital, Ajay Dubey, on Sunday alleged that the Madhya Pradesh lokayukta establishment provides false information.Dubey said that he sent a memorandum to the lokayukta through e-mail on the ID provided on the authorised website of the lokayukta establishment on January 21, 2014.

Dubey further said that with the said memorandum was provided copy of the Government of India advertisement published for the appointment of lokpal and requested him to recommend to the State Government to fill the Deputy lokayukta post of the State by adopting the similar transparent procedure of publishing advertisement to seek competent person for the same.

By adopting the transparent procedure not only the State would get the most able person but the establishment would also get rid of the Government’s special grace and discrimination, he added.

He said, “recently when we wished to know the action taken on our memorandum through e-mail we were told that the lokayukta did not get our earlier mail. In our opinion it is a matter of grave concern and need to be investigated. Non-receipt of mail by a retired Supreme Court judge holding sensitive office of lokayukta gives rise to many speculations and is also a mockery with the people of the State,” he added.

Dubey, also a member of the Transparency International, said, “everybody knows that MP lokayukta justice PP Noelekar who has 40 long years of experience behind him, Director General of lokayukta Police Sukhraj Singh, IG lokayukta Police Ashok Awasthi and legal advisor to lokayukta Shishir Chobe went to Sweden and Finland by sepnding lakhs of rupees to learn about corruption eradication.

In this regard we have come to know that the Parliamentary lokpal of Finland in its reply to the applicant of this tour Sukhraj Singh told that it did not work on the corruption related with the common man but we look after the parliamentary issues still if you wish to visit our country you could come,” he added.

He said, “that we wish to know that when the Finland’s parliamentary lokpal does not look after the corruption related with the common man then why these officials visited Finland and what they learned from there.”
