A Covid care centre opened in Good Shepherd Colony on Kolar road is facing ire of local residents. They have demanded to close down the hospital, which has been opened in the residential area.
A local resident, Manu Thomas, said that it is highly objectionable that such a hospital-Dulaar Covid Care Hospital, for the Covid patients has been opened in the colony. With this, a resident in the just adjacent house got infected and passed away, he added.
He further said that in the colony, in most of the houses, there are old and retired people who are at risk. He said that he, along with other residents, has been opposing it and decided to lodge an official complaint with the district administration.
In this posh colony, the houses are in row and adjacent to each other. This way, the residents are much at risk.
