The story of Mahatma Gandhi was narrated in a charismatic manner. The traditional story telling ‘Dastan Goi’ when was performed with the tranquility of Urdu, it took away the hearts of Bhopalites. Dastan Goi performers Fauzia and Fazal gave a spontaneous performance on Sunday evening leaving the audience mesmerised.
The event Gandhi Parv was organised in the city. The fest had a grand closure here on Sunday at Bharat Bhavan with varied cultural programmes organised.
The fest was organised by Directorate of Culture, Madhya Pradesh with a motive to encourage young minds of Bhopal to know more about Mahatma Gandhu. Here on Sunday, the Bhopalites experienced a wondrous event with programmes like Dastan Goi and play.
The poetic performance by artists added much zest in the Dastangoi. The audiences were seen totally engrossed in the melodious music performed by the youngsters of the city.

The untold and rare facts about Gandhi were beautifully put forward by the young actors on stage. The act began with people on stage talking about Gandhi. They also performed the songs by Gandhi. In the process of telling the story the narrators freely borrowed tropes and themes from other stories. It was too mesmerizing to witness events about the legendry freedom fighter and father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi.
