A man who raped his three-year-old daughter sentenced to life imprisonment for the rest of his natural life by Padma Jatav, 18th ADJ, Special Court, Bhopal on Thursday.
The accused Rambabu Chandravanshi was booked under sections 376 (a,b), 376(2)N, 376(2)F of the IPC and 5M,N,L/6 of the POCSO Act in each of the remaining cases respectively. Punished with imprisonment for life up to a life term and fine of Rs.50,000 each with a total fine of Rs 1,50,000.

In the month of January 2022, the victim's mother appeared in the police station Khajuri road and informed that she is a resident of Bhopal and engaged in domestic work. About 20 days ago, her daughter reported pain in private parts and when she checked blood was found in clothes and there were cut marks in his private parts.
On December 31, 2021, at around 1 in the afternoon, the victim was taken to the shop by the accused father and at around 8 in the night, she reported pain in her private part and when mother asked she revealed that Rambabu committed atrocity and she asked Rambabu, he started threatening and later she informed family and reported the incident to the police, based on the report crime was registered.
On completion of the discussion taken in the investigation, the challan was presented before the court. On the basis of prosecution evidence, arguments and documents by the Special Court, finding the crime to be proved, the accused was punished with the punishment of imprisonment till natural death.
