I don’t go on the roads and clean the streets in the name of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan just to show I care, instead I practice it as a dutiful citizen,” says model turned actress Gauhar Khan.

“I am very certain about these things. I know initiatives have been taken but they are not implemented properly. laws are required in our country for people to follow these initiatives taken,” Gauhar added.

Gauhar, on the other hand, stated that India was a young country and so every citizen needed to understand how the situations could be changed. “I see people throwing garbage on the roads and mind you these are well educated peoples. What are they teaching to their children I don’t know. But this has to be changed and this can only be changed when people themselves will take the initiative.”

Elaborating further she said, “Women of our country are dynamic. But there is always a limited time for everything and I am expecting positive outcome of this initiative as this will really empower women.
