Lecture on health checkup and awareness was organised here on Thursday at SECT college.
On the occasion of Health Awareness Campaign and AIDS Day by Red Ribbon Club and National Service Scheme Bhopal of Sect College of Professional Education Bhopal.
In this, AIDS awareness was informed through film show by Azim Nizam of the technical unit of AIDS Control Institute, Bhopal. At the same time, heart disease was informed by Subroto from Ubuntu Hospital.
Medical Officer of Rabindranath Tagore University, C.P. Mishra gave a motivational lecture on health awareness in which he asked the students to be vigilant. Apart from this, a poster exhibition on AIDS was organized.
Principal of Sect College Satyendra Khare, Vice Principal Yogendra Chauhan, Dean Academic Nitin Mod, officers of National Service Planning Unit Nitin Dhimole, Roshni Gaur, all staff and students were present on its inauguration.
Talking to students, Satyendra Khare said, “If we regularly visit doctors and follow good eating habits we can avoid problems. But in modern hectic life we are least bothered about our care and that contributes to our problems”, he added.
