Kondagaon has become the first district of Bastar division to complete the socio-economic survey in Chhattisgarh within the stipulated time.
An official communication on Tuesday said the government had set a target to survey 1.24 lakh families in Kondagaon district based on ration card holders. Within 22 days, the survey has been completed.
However, the survey work is still on as some new families have been added.
“In addition to achieving the set target, the district administration will soon complete the survey of 1.28 lakh families, including new families and those without ration cards,” the statement said.
