Kolar police have arrested two miscreants involved in the robbery of a motorbike and silver chain near DMart in the evening on Tuesday; police have recovered the robbed motorbike and silver chain and bike used in the crime.
Police acted swiftly and tracked the accused identified as Salman Shaikh and Shubham Dalke, both residents of Gehukheda.
The victim was robbed on his way to home after work and when he was moving outside Dmart on bike two miscreants came and stopped him. The two accused assaulted him, robbed him of his bike and silver chain and escaped the spot.
After the incident the victim reached the police and lodged a complaint that he works with Dmart at Kolar and in the evening after work he was on his way to home on his bike and when he reached Singapore City gate two miscreants stopped him and attacked him. The two robbed his bike bearing registration number MP04QV3678 and the silver chain he was wearing.
Based on the complaint after preliminary investigation a case under section 341, 392, 323, 506 and 34 of the IPC was registered and police acted swiftly and tracked the accused near Good Shepherd colony.
The police recovered a motorbike bearing registration number MP04QV3678 and silver chain which was robbed from the victim and motorbike bearing registration number MP04QE7970.
The crime record of the accused is under investigation. More crimes and aides who have helped would be revealed by the accused in the further investigation.
