KMPP, BKS to intensify agitation

Published on:

Kisaan Mazdoor Praja Party (KMPP) and Bharatiya Kisaan Sangh (BKS) agitators tore off the election manifesto of Bharatiya Janata Party during their protest here on Thursday.

KMPP and BKS party office bearers and workers are on hunger strike for past eight days demanding betterment of farmers in the State. Condition of agitating KMPP National President Krishngopal Mali and BKS State General Secretary Ravidutt Singh has worsened but insensitive State Government has not sent any medical practitioner to check their condition. KMPP and BKS have jointly decided to make the movement more aggressive. KMPP State General Secretary Bhagat Singh and BKS State Secretary Puran Singh Yadav have also started hunger strike from Thursday.

Mali on this occasion said that he will fight for the rural society till his last breath. Ruling parties are just puppets in the hands of corporate houses. These days leaders are pursuing politics on the basis of communalism, regionalism, naxalism etc and are dividing the country that is why neither the borders of country are secured nor internally.

BKS state Secretary Singh said that BJP did not fulfilled the promises made in its election manifesto. This is treason with the citizens of the state that is why election manifesto of BJP was burnt down. Farmers, labour, students, youth, women, government employees all were cheated by BJP led government which signifies the difference between promises and deeds of the government.

BKS Secretary Singh said that KMPP is going to bring change in the rural society which has been waiting for last 65 years. New revolution has started in the country.
